Terms of Service

Draft — pending legal review. This page describes how BattleArc intends to operate. The final text may change; if it does, the version above changes and you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue.

01Who we are

BattleArc is a competition platform for creators, communities and leagues: sign-up, check-in, brackets, results, standings, ratings and sponsor-funded prizes. It is operated by [legal entity name and registered address — to be completed] (“BattleArc”, “we”). You can reach us at [support email — to be completed].

By creating an account or using BattleArc you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

02Who can use BattleArc

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 if you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
  • You must be allowed to enter into this agreement where you live. If you use BattleArc for an organization, you confirm you may act for it.
  • Some events set their own higher age limits or eligibility rules; the organizer of the event decides and enforces them.

03Your account

  • One person per account. Keep your details accurate and your sign-in methods (email, password, connected Google, Apple, Discord or Twitch accounts) secure.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Turn on two-step verification; it is required for admin accounts.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
  • Shared demo accounts are for trying the product only: do not store personal information in them.

04Playing fair

You agree not to:

  • cheat, fix matches, report false results, or use more than one account to gain an advantage;
  • harass, threaten, impersonate or discriminate against other people, or post illegal or sexually explicit content;
  • break into accounts, probe or overload our systems, scrape the service, or bypass rate limits and security checks;
  • use BattleArc for gambling or wagering of any kind.

Organizers may enforce their own event rules. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

05Events, organizers and prizes

  • Organizers run their events on BattleArc and are responsible for their rules, schedules, results, disputes and any prizes they promise.
  • Prizes funded by organizers or sponsors are paid by them under the event’s terms. BattleArc records and displays them but is not a party to them unless an event says otherwise.
  • Entry is free unless an event clearly states otherwise. Predictions and similar features are for fun: they carry no money value and cannot be exchanged for money.

06Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (profile details, team names, messages, results, media). You give BattleArc a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it as needed to run the service — for example on public event pages, brackets, overlays and embeds. You confirm you have the right to post it.

07Sign-in providers and other services

If you sign in with Google, Apple, Discord or Twitch, their terms also apply to that account. Links to other websites and streams are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for them.

08Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using BattleArc at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other people or the service at risk. Results already published in completed events may stay visible in anonymized form.

09The service is provided “as is”

We work to keep BattleArc available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. [Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability — to be completed after legal review. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.]

10Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we publish a new version with a new date. For material changes we ask you to accept the new version the next time you use your account. The current version is 2026-09-23.

11Law and contact

[Governing law and courts — to be completed.] Questions about these terms: [support email — to be completed]. How we handle personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
